The awards for the “Greece – A 365 Day Destination” video production continue, which in April attracted two more awards at international tourist festivals and five in total in eight months. The video of EOT received the Golden Award at the Tourist Festival of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria – in the promotional film category – “for the presentation of Greece as a destination throughout the year” at a special event held on 20 April 2018.
The same video also received the Silver Award at the 11th Tourist Film Festival in Riga, Latvia, the 11th Riga Tour Film Festival, and 220 Destination Country Destinations. The prize was received by the director and scriptwriter of the film Mr. Antonis Theocharis Kyukas, who conveyed the greetings of Minister of Tourism Elena Kountoura and the Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Mr. Konstantinos Tsegas, to the awards ceremony on 27 April, inviting the attendees from all over Greece to visit and to know Greece and the rest of the year except for the summer.
The EOT film has so far received five international awards in eight months with these two new distinctions:
UNWTO’s First European Destination 2017 Award for European Destination 2017 among the 23 Candidate Countries of Europe in the relevant WTO Competition at the General Assembly of the Organization in Chengdu, China.
The Special Prize at the Zagreb International Tourist Festival, from the Festival’s Direction, in the category of a touristic film of up to 7 minutes selected from among 48 films
The Second World Tourist Destination Video – and First in Europe – at the Golden City Gate International Berlin Festival, as part of the ITB International Tourism Fair.
